COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance at Lawrence Technological University is structured to provide students with a solid foundation in both business principles and financial expertise. In the first year, the curriculum focuses on essential accounting, management, mathematics, and communication skills. During the fall semester, students take courses such as Introduction to Financial Accounting, College Composition, a mathematics course with a choice between Precalculus or Survey of Calculus, and Principles of Management, totaling 13 credits. These courses establish a foundational understanding of business operations, financial recording, quantitative reasoning, and professional communication.In the spring semester, students build on this foundation with courses in Intro to Managerial Accounting, Introduction to Business Data Analytics, and Foundations of AI in Business, each worth three credits. These courses equip students with analytical and technological skills essential for modern finance, including data interpretation, financial decision-making, and the application of artificial intelligence in business contexts.
