COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering curriculum at Lawrence Technological University is designed to provide a strong foundation in both electrical engineering and computer science while integrating hands-on, project-based learning. In the first year, students build essential skills in college composition, chemistry, calculus, and introductory engineering and computer courses, alongside labs and design projects. The second year focuses on calculus, physics, computer science, circuits, differential equations, and discrete mathematics, preparing students for more advanced engineering concepts. During the third year, the program emphasizes digital electronics, data structures, microprocessors, probability and statistics, and electronics labs, along with leadership and professional development. In the fourth year, students gain experience with embedded systems, computer architecture, control systems, real-time systems, software engineering, and capstone projects, while also completing technical electives and courses in business and professional communication. The curriculum balances theoretical knowledge, practical engineering skills, and professional development to equip graduates for careers in designing, programming, and maintaining complex computing and electronic systems.
