The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting program is structured over four years, progressively building students’ knowledge in accounting, business fundamentals, and advanced analytical skills. In the first year, students are introduced to the basics of accounting through courses like financial and managerial accounting, along with foundational subjects such as college composition, management principles, entrepreneurship, and business data analytics. They also study mathematics through precalculus or calculus and explore emerging areas like artificial intelligence in business, helping them develop both communication and technical skills early in the program.In the second year, the focus shifts toward core accounting concepts and supporting disciplines. Students take intermediate accounting courses that cover assets and equities, along with economics, statistics, and natural science electives. Communication skills are further strengthened through professional communication courses, while marketing and humanities subjects broaden their understanding of business and society. This year emphasizes analytical thinking and prepares students for more specialized topics.The third year introduces more advanced and applied business knowledge. Students study individual income tax, financial management, accounting information systems, and business law. They also gain exposure to areas like human resource management, project management, international trade, and information technology management, which help them understand how accounting integrates with other business functions.In the final year, students focus on strategic and practical applications of their learning. Courses such as auditing, enterprise resource planning systems, operations management, and decision analysis prepare them for professional roles. The program also includes a business internship, providing real-world experience. It concludes with strategic management and business policy, ensuring students graduate with a comprehensive understanding of business operations and decision-making.
