COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Public Health degree in Health Policy and Management provides students with a comprehensive foundation in the knowledge, skills, and applied practices required for leadership in public health. The program emphasizes the integration of policy, administration, and management principles to address complex challenges in health services and community well-being. Core coursework covers critical areas such as biostatistics, environmental health, public health epidemiology, administration, health care systems, public health law and ethics, financial management, cost-benefit analysis, program planning and evaluation, and community health needs assessment. Through these courses, students develop the analytical and decision-making skills necessary to assess health systems, evaluate programs, and implement effective strategies in diverse organizational settings. Elective courses in areas including biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology, health policy and management, and social and behavioral sciences allow students to tailor their learning to specific career interests or research goals.
