The Master of Education in Educational Leadership–K-12 requires completion of a minimum of 30 credit hours. The program’s major courses provide a comprehensive foundation in school leadership, administration, and policy. Key courses include School and Special Education Law, The Educational Principalship, and Fundamentals of Educational Administration, which prepare students to understand legal frameworks, leadership responsibilities, and administrative processes in K-12 schools. School Finance for Building Administrators equips future leaders with knowledge of budgeting, resource allocation, and financial decision-making, while Leading for Social Justice emphasizes equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive leadership. Instructional Leadership and The Administrator’s Role in Curriculum Development focus on improving teaching, learning outcomes, and curriculum planning within schools. Principles and Techniques of Supervision and Special Education prepare administrators to support staff development and special education programs, and Community Relations and Communication Skills develop the ability to engage families, stakeholders, and the wider community effectively. Research in Educational Services ensures that students can critically analyze educational issues and apply evidence-based practices to their leadership roles.
