COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration program requires the completion of approximately thirty-seven credit hours, combining core business courses, a strategic capstone, and optional specialization or elective coursework. The major requirements form the foundation of the program, covering essential business disciplines such as financial and managerial accounting, analytics for decision making, supply chain management, globalization and technology strategy, and both macroeconomic and managerial economics. Students also develop competencies in law and ethics, managerial finance, human resource management, leadership, marketing management, and professional development. These courses are designed to build a well-rounded understanding of how organizations operate and how effective decisions are made in a business environment.A key component of the program is the culminating requirement, Business Strategy, where students integrate knowledge from all functional areas to analyze complex business situations and develop strategic solutions. This capstone experience emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in real-world contexts.In addition to the core curriculum, students complete nine credit hours of additional requirements, which can either be general graduate electives or a chosen concentration. Those who do not select a concentration work with an academic advisor to choose electives that align with their interests and career goals. Alternatively, students may specialize in areas such as Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, Human Resource Management, or International Business, among others, to gain deeper expertise in a specific field.Overall, the program balances foundational business knowledge with flexibility and practical application. It prepares students for leadership roles by developing analytical, managerial, and strategic skills, while also allowing customization through electives or concentrations to support diverse professional pathways.
