COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Arts degree in Psychological Science is an intermediate, research-intensive program specifically designed for students admitted to doctoral programs in the Department of Psychological Sciences. This program provides students with advanced training in research methods, quantitative analysis, and the practical application of psychological theory, offering a structured foundation for subsequent doctoral-level study. The curriculum emphasizes the development of empirical research skills, including study design, data collection, statistical analysis, and the interpretation of results. Core courses such as Quantitative Statistical Analysis I and II ensure that students gain proficiency in essential statistical techniques, while Clinical Research Methods or Research Methods in Psychological Science provide specialized knowledge in designing and executing rigorous psychological studies.
