The Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Analytics at Kent State University prepares students to become proficient in analyzing and interpreting complex business data to make informed decisions in real-world contexts. Advanced courses include Business Analytics II, Analytics in Practice, Data Visualization, Machine Learning, and a Capstone in Business Analytics, where students apply their knowledge to practical projects. Database Design and Data Governance further enhance technical proficiency. Major electives allow students to specialize in areas such as marketing analytics, human resource analytics, operations management, natural language processing, or digital transformation.The program includes additional requirements in core business disciplines, general education, mathematics, communication, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. Students must earn a minimum C grade in all major courses and writing-intensive requirements while maintaining a minimum overall GPA of 2.0. A portion of the program must be completed in residence at Kent State to ensure engagement with faculty and peers.Kent State’s BBA in Business Analytics equips students with both technical expertise and critical thinking skills.
