ABOUT UNIVERSITY

Herzing University is a private nonprofit institution with multiple campuses across the United States, along with an online division. It offers a range of academic programs, including associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, as well as certificates and diplomas. The university operates 11 campuses in eight states: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Ohio, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. Founded in 1965 by Henry and Suzanne Herzing as a computer training institute in Milwaukee, the school became Herzing Institute in 1970 and expanded through acquisitions. It was renamed Herzing College in 1996 and became Herzing University in 2009 with the introduction of graduate programs. In 2015, the university transitioned to nonprofit status.Students can pursue their education at one of Herzing's 10 ground campuses or opt for fully online programs, with the flexibility to mix in-person and online courses. The university offers programs in nursing, healthcare, technology, business, legal studies, and public safety.
