COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Techpreneurship is a 36-semester hour program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive innovation, launch startups, or lead technology-focused initiatives within existing organizations. The program consists of 15 semester hours of core courses, including Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Entrepreneurship: From Traction to Scale, Economics of Innovation, Financial Sustainability, and the Current Technology Trends Seminar, which collectively provide a strong foundation in entrepreneurial thinking, financial planning, and emerging technologies. In addition, students complete six semester hours of experiential learning through either a Graduate Thesis or an Applied Project in Techpreneurship, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges and gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, business development, and innovation management. The program also offers an Individualized Concentration, allowing students to select 15 semester hours of electives from any Harrisburg University Master of Science program, creating a tailored educational path that aligns with their career goals, prior experience, and personal interests. This flexibility enables students to deepen expertise in areas such as management, technology, data analytics, or digital transformation, enhancing their capacity to innovate strategically. By integrating core entrepreneurial skills with practical experience and personalized study, the Techpreneurship program prepares graduates to become effective leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs capable of driving technological and business advancements in dynamic, competitive environments.
