COURSE CURRICULUM

Project Management with an Individualized concentration is designed to give students both a solid foundation in project management principles and the flexibility to tailor their studies to align with specific career goals. In the first year, the fall semester begins with Principles of Project Management and Introduction to Large Language Models in Project Management, establishing a strong base in core project management concepts and emerging technologies. The spring semester builds on this foundation with Planning and Executing Projects and Organizational Leadership, equipping students with the skills to plan, implement, and lead projects effectively while managing teams and organizational dynamics. During the summer semester, students complete Risk, Procurement, and Contracts alongside Agile Project Management with Scrum Methodology, emphasizing iterative project execution, risk management, and agile practices. In the second year, the fall semester includes Research Methodology and Writing or Applied Project Management I alongside a concentration elective, allowing students to apply research and analytical skills to their area of focus. The spring semester continues with two concentration electives, giving students further flexibility to specialize in leadership, data analytics, emerging technologies, or industry-specific applications. The sequence culminates in the summer semester with a Graduate Thesis or Applied Project Management II and a final concentration elective, enabling students to integrate their learning into a practical, personalized capstone experience that directly supports career advancement and professional growth.
