COURSE CURRICULUM

Master of Science in Project Management with a concentration in Agile Lean is designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities necessary to manage complex projects in dynamic, fast-paced environments. In the first year, the fall semester begins with Principles of Project Management and Introduction to Large Language Models in Project Management, providing foundational project management principles and emerging technological applications. The spring semester builds on this foundation with Planning and Executing Projects and Organizational Leadership, emphasizing effective planning, execution, and team management. During the summer, students focus on Risk, Procurement, and Contracts alongside Agile Project Management with Scrum Methodology, introducing practical Agile techniques and frameworks for iterative project success. In the second year, the fall semester includes Research Methodology and Writing or Applied Project Management I, coupled with Lean Thinking, allowing students to integrate Lean principles into efficient project workflows. The spring semester provides hands-on experience with Agile Scrum Applied Projects or Scaling Agile for the Enterprise, along with a concentration elective, reinforcing the application of Agile methodologies at both team and organizational levels. The program concludes in the summer with a Graduate Thesis or Applied Project Management II and Agile Lean Transformational Leadership, preparing graduates to lead Agile and Lean initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and deliver value in complex, evolving organizational environments.
