COURSE CURRICULUM

Master of Science in Information Systems Engineering and Management (ISEM) with an Individualized Concentration is designed to provide a strong foundation in enterprise systems, strategic management, and emerging technologies while allowing students to tailor their studies to specific interests. In the first year, the fall semester includes Strategic Planning for Digital Transformation and Business Strategy and Management Principles, establishing core knowledge in strategic enterprise planning and management. The spring semester focuses on Systems Engineering Principles and Enterprise Architecture and Integration, emphasizing holistic systems thinking, enterprise architecture, and integration of people, processes, and technology. During the summer, students complete a core elective and a concentration elective, allowing early customization of the program toward areas such as digital health, AI, cloud computing, or blockchain. In the second year, the fall semester is dedicated to concentration electives, further deepening expertise in the student’s chosen focus. The spring semester includes Research Methodology and Writing alongside another concentration elective, preparing students for applied or scholarly work. The program culminates in the summer with either a graduate thesis or a research/applied project, paired with a final concentration elective. This sequence balances technical knowledge, management skills, and flexible specialization, preparing graduates to lead the design, integration, and management of sophisticated information systems in global digital enterprises.
