COURSE CURRICULUM

Master of Science in Information Systems Engineering and Management with an Artificial Intelligence for Business concentration is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in enterprise systems, strategic management, and advanced AI applications for business. In the first year, the fall semester includes Strategic Planning for Digital Transformation and Business Strategy and Management Principles, establishing core competencies in enterprise planning, management, and business strategy. The spring semester builds on this foundation with Systems Engineering Principles and Enterprise Architecture and Integration, emphasizing holistic systems thinking, enterprise architecture, and the integration of people, processes, and technology. During the summer, students take a core elective alongside Artificial Intelligence Principles and Applications, introducing AI concepts and their practical applications in business contexts. In the second year, the fall semester includes Artificial Intelligence and Systems Engineering and Cloud Computing, Big Data Applications, and Machine Learning, deepening technical expertise in AI-driven enterprise solutions and scalable data-driven systems. The spring semester incorporates Research Methodology and Writing and a concentration elective, preparing students for applied or scholarly work. The program culminates in the summer with either a graduate thesis or a research/applied project, paired with a final concentration elective, allowing students to synthesize knowledge in a practical, research-based, or applied project. This sequence equips graduates to leverage AI and emerging technologies for strategic decision-making, enterprise innovation, and leadership in digital business environments.
