COURSE CURRICULUM

The Student Learning Outcomes for Gannon University’s Writing program focus on developing students’ abilities to communicate effectively, think critically, and work collaboratively in a variety of professional and creative contexts. Students are expected to demonstrate effective writing and speaking skills tailored to diverse rhetorical situations, ensuring clarity, precision, and adaptability in communication.The program emphasizes the use of various writing and design technologies, preparing students to create content across digital and print platforms and adapt to evolving media formats. Students also learn to analyze and critically interpret writing for multicultural audiences, fostering cultural awareness and the ability to engage thoughtfully with diverse perspectives.Collaboration is a key component of the curriculum, with students producing jointly written projects that develop teamwork, editorial skills, and professional practices.
