COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Physics at DePaul University is a structured graduate curriculum that blends advanced coursework with independent research to prepare students for doctoral study, research careers, or professional roles in science and engineering. The program requires a total of 48 quarter hours, which includes a set of core physics courses, electives, and a research thesis. Core coursework focuses on essential topics in the discipline such as electrodynamics, classical mechanics, and quantum mechanics through sequential graduate courses that build depth in theoretical and mathematical physics.
