COURSE CURRICULUM

The Educational Leadership (MA/MEd) program at DePaul University offers a flexible and comprehensive pathway for individuals who want to advance into leadership roles across a variety of educational settings. In the general MA or MEd option, students are prepared to work in K–12 schools as well as in early childhood centers, after-school programs, museums, and nonprofit organizations, giving them the versatility to apply leadership skills across formal and informal learning environments. In addition to the general pathway, students may choose specialized tracks such as Catholic Leadership, Higher Education, Physical Education, or licensure-focused options including the Principal License or Teacher Leader endorsements, depending on their career goals. These specialized pathways allow students to tailor their studies toward specific professional roles while still building a strong foundation in educational leadership theory and practice.
