COURSE CURRICULUM

The coursework in the political science program is designed to help students understand how political systems function at local, national, and global levels. Students begin with foundational classes such as The American Political System, which explores the structure and functioning of government in the United States, and Comparative Politics, which examines how different countries organize their political institutions and processes. International Relations introduces students to global politics, focusing on relationships between nations, foreign policy, diplomacy, and international conflict and cooperation.Public Law provides an understanding of legal systems and the role of law in shaping political decisions, while Political Analysis and Research develops essential skills in evaluating political data, conducting research, and interpreting political trends. These courses help students build strong analytical and critical thinking abilities that are essential for understanding complex political issues.Additional coursework such as Politics and Multiculturalism examines how identity, culture, and diversity influence political behavior and policy-making.
