COURSE CURRICULUM

The Communication and Technology program at DePaul University offers a focused curriculum designed to help students understand and thrive in today’s digital communication environment. Core coursework includes Communication, Technology and Society, which explores how digital tools shape human interaction, culture, and information flow in modern life. Communication Law & Ethics in a Digital Age examines legal frameworks, privacy concerns, and ethical responsibilities in online and media communication.Students also develop practical skills through Introduction to Digital Media Skills, where they learn foundational tools for creating and managing digital content, and Digital Writing, which emphasizes clear, effective communication across online platforms and multimedia formats. Together, these courses combine theory, ethics, and hands-on training to prepare students for careers in digital media, communication strategy, content creation, and technology-driven communication fields.
