ENT-2031, Creating Breakthrough Innovations, introduces students to creativity and innovation as essential components for organizational success. ENT-3020, Identifying Entrepreneurship Opportunities, centers on the early stages of entrepreneurship, where students explore how to discover and evaluate new business opportunities by identifying customer problems, societal trends, and unmet needs. The course emphasizes ethical considerations and the potential global impact of these opportunities, teaching students to assess value creation throughout the entrepreneurial process. ENT-4900, Strategy, Planning, and Execution for Entrepreneurship, serves as a capstone course where students apply their accumulated learning by developing a complete business plan. This course covers key elements such as choosing a legal structure, marketing strategies, financing, operations management, human resources, and risk mitigation. It also focuses on leadership and communication skills necessary for managing all functions of a new business in a competitive global market. ENT-4910, Special Topics: Entrepreneurship & Innovation, allows students to delve into emerging or specialized topics within the discipline, offering the chance to repeat the course with different topics for a broader perspective. Lastly, ENT-4950, Independent Study in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, provides flexible options for students to pursue personalized research or projects related to entrepreneurship and innovation, with credit hours ranging from one to six.
