COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science (M.S.) in Watershed Science at Colorado State University is a graduate program designed to provide advanced interdisciplinary training in the study of water systems and watershed processes. The program focuses on understanding how physical, chemical, and biological factors influence the movement, quality, and availability of water across different landscapes.Students in the program can specialize in a wide range of areas of study, including biogeochemistry, erosion and sedimentation, geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial analysis, hydrologic modeling, land use hydrology, physical hydrology, remote sensing, snow and alpine hydrology, and water quality.
