The Computer Engineering major offers concentrations that allow students to specialize in key areas of technology while gaining deeper knowledge and hands-on experience. This pathway prepares students to solve complex engineering challenges related to safety-critical systems, satellite technologies, and space exploration.The Embedded and IoT Systems concentration provides a comprehensive understanding of how hardware, software, and networks work together to create integrated systems. Students study areas such as computer architecture, embedded systems, Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning, computer security, and algorithms. This concentration prepares students to design and develop smart devices and connected technologies used in everyday life and industry.The Networks and Data concentration combines concepts from computer science, electrical engineering, and mathematics to focus on data processing and communication systems. Students learn how to design and optimize networks that handle large volumes of data, working on challenges related to modern technologies such as 5G and 6G networks, IoT systems, deep-space communication, and social networks.
