COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program at California State University, Sacramento requires a total of 42 units, structured across core coursework, concentration courses, and a culminating experience, along with mandatory residency sessions. The core coursework consists of 21 units designed to build foundational public health knowledge and skills. These courses cover key areas such as ecological determinants of health, public health leadership and management, healthcare systems and policies, and research methods through a two-part sequence.
