COURSE CURRICULUM

The History BA program requires 128 credit hours, including general education requirements and major-specific courses. Core courses include Introduction to Historical Methods, U.S. History surveys, European History surveys, and Non-Western History. Students must complete upper-level electives in various thematic areas such as political history, social history, and cultural history. A senior capstone seminar involves original research and presentation. Additional requirements may include foreign language proficiency and interdisciplinary electives. The curriculum is designed to build progressively from foundational knowledge to advanced analysis and synthesis.
