COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Arts in Strategic Communication offers a dynamic and comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare students for leadership roles in communication, marketing, project management, or strategic human resources. Core coursework includes advanced study in communication theory, leadership, and digital media, with classes such as Strategic Communication and Leadership, Communication Theory and Research Methods, and Strategic Communications and Social Media. Students culminate their studies with either a Professional Services Capstone, involving real client collaboration, or a Research-Based Capstone designed for those pursuing further academic research. The program integrates marketing and management fundamentals with courses like Marketing Management, Digital Marketing Communication, and Strategic Communication, developing students’ abilities to lead and influence in complex business environments.Students may tailor their education through one of three concentrations. The Marketing concentration offers courses in areas such as International Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communication, Marketing Strategy, and Marketing Analysis, all emphasizing real-world application and digital integration. The Project Management concentration focuses on the project life cycle, tools and technologies, real-world case applications, and Six Sigma principles to prepare students to lead strategic projects. The Strategic Human Resources concentration covers strategic HR planning, workforce and employment law, compensation and risk management, labor relations, and training and development. Together, this robust curriculum equips graduates with the strategic, creative, and managerial skills needed to thrive in diverse professional roles.
