COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum includes core courses such as Regression (STAT-515), Mathematical Statistics (STAT-510 and STAT-511), Applied Statistical Methods (STAT-520), and a Capstone in Statistics (STAT-690). For the Statistics option, additional courses include Statistical Machine Learning (STAT-521), Time Series Analysis (STAT-522), and electives. For the Biostatistics option, courses include Biostatistics (STAT-614), Categorical Data Analysis (STAT-627), and Survival Analysis (STAT-625). Students must complete 30 credit hours, including 6 for the capstone. Electives can be chosen from related fields like data science or mathematics.
