COURSE CURRICULUM

The MS in Biology requires 30 credit hours, including core courses in Advanced Biological Concepts, Research Methods in Biology, and Biostatistics. Students must complete elective courses in specialized areas such as Genetics, Cell Biology, Ecology, or Neurobiology. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to thesis research, where students design and execute an independent research project under faculty supervision. Additional requirements include participation in seminars, journal clubs, and possibly teaching assistantships. The curriculum is flexible, allowing students to tailor their studies to their interests and career goals, with opportunities for interdisciplinary work in environmental science or biotechnology.
