COURSE CURRICULUM

The MS in Economics requires 30 credit hours. Core courses include: Microeconomic Theory I and II, Macroeconomic Theory I and II, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics I and II. Students must also complete electives (9 credits) from offerings such as International Economics, Development Economics, Monetary Theory, Labor Economics, and Environmental Economics. A capstone experience involves either a thesis or a comprehensive exam. The program allows flexibility for students to tailor their studies to interests in policy, finance, or academia, with options for independent study and research seminars.
