COURSE CURRICULUM

The program requires 33 credit hours. Core requirements include 9 credit hours in research methods and political analysis courses. Students choose a track and complete 12 credit hours in track-specific courses. An additional 9 credit hours of approved electives are required, along with a 3-credit capstone experience, which can be a thesis, substantial research paper, collaborative research project, or independent study. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and can take up to 6 credit hours outside the department with approval.
