COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum for the BS in Environmental Studies includes core courses in environmental science, ecology, geology, and chemistry, along with social science courses in environmental policy, economics, and ethics. Students take foundational classes such as Introduction to Environmental Science, Environmental Geology, and Principles of Ecology. Advanced coursework covers topics like Climate Change, Sustainable Development, and Environmental Law. The program requires quantitative methods courses, including statistics and GIS (Geographic Information Systems). Electives allow specialization in areas such as renewable energy or urban sustainability. A capstone project or thesis is required, involving original research or an applied environmental project.
