The Journey of the Book: The Publishing Process introduces students to the complete lifecycle of a publication, from manuscript development and editing to production, distribution, and marketing, providing hands-on experience in real-world publishing practices. Publishing Then and Now explores the history, evolution, and contemporary trends within the publishing industry, allowing students to understand the cultural, social, and technological factors that shape the production and reception of books. The Business of Publishing focuses on the commercial and strategic aspects of the sector, including market analysis, audience engagement, and project management, equipping students with the skills to navigate the professional environment effectively. Practical Publishing provides opportunities for students to apply their learning directly, working on live projects and gaining experience in editorial processes, collaborative workflows, and publication delivery.
