COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Communication, Liaison and Advocacy MA equips students with advanced knowledge and practical skills to navigate complex global communication contexts. Core modules such as International Liaison and Advocacy, Principles and Practice of International Communication, Intercultural Communication, and Global Challenges and Counter Narratives provide a strong foundation in communication theory and its application to real-world international settings. Students can choose between completing a Dissertation or pursuing International Partnership Management, depending on their academic or professional goals. The program also offers flexibility through optional modules, including International Organisations and Institutional Discourse, Language in Society, and Multilingualism: Concepts and Applications, allowing learners to tailor their studies to specific areas of interest. The course is designed to prepare graduates to act as effective advocates, mediators, strategists, and facilitators of communication across cultures and institutions. Through both theoretical engagement and practical simulations, students learn to anticipate challenges, analyse communication strategies, and implement solutions that foster successful interaction in multicultural and multilingual contexts.
