COURSE CURRICULUM

The Creative Computing BSc provides students with a comprehensive foundation in both technical and creative aspects of computing, preparing them for careers in the fast-evolving digital technology industry. In the first year, students develop core skills in software development, web design, client-side development, interaction design, and digital content creation, alongside an introduction to game enterprise and business requirements analysis. This year establishes a strong grounding in programming, digital creativity, and project understanding. In the second year, students build on this foundation with more advanced modules, including 3D interactive media development, mobile and server-side application development, human-computer interaction, game engine architecture, and XR multimodal interaction. Collaborative group projects enable students to apply technical knowledge to creative problem-solving in real-world contexts, enhancing teamwork and project management skills. In the final year, students consolidate their expertise through advanced interactive media development, front-end and mobile application development, usability testing, and emerging web media platforms. The program culminates in a comprehensive final project that demonstrates the integration of creative and technical skills. Graduates leave with a versatile skill set, including coding, digital design, user experience evaluation, and multimedia development, equipping them for careers across creative technology sectors, web and mobile applications, digital media, and interactive entertainment industries.
