COURSE CURRICULUM

The Marketing Communications degree is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in marketing theory while developing creative and analytical skills that align with the demands of today’s digital and AI-driven industries. In the first year, students are introduced to key concepts such as buyer behaviour, brand management, digital marketing, and consumer understanding, with opportunities to broaden their skills through optional modules, including a foreign language. The second year builds on this foundation by focusing on media channels and effective communication strategies, teaching students how to adapt style and messaging to suit different audiences and contexts. Core modules cover areas such as advertising in the age of AI, consumer insights, data analytics, PR management, ethics, social responsibility, and strategic media planning. Students may also choose work experience or study abroad to gain practical exposure. In the final year, emphasis is placed on integrating skills through real-world application, with students planning, testing, and measuring digital marketing campaigns while working on a major project tailored to their interests, whether research, consultancy, or creative work. Advanced modules in international marketing, integrated communications, sustainability, luxury branding, and sales management prepare graduates for diverse careers in marketing, communications, and media strategy.
