COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Hotel Management BA provides a comprehensive foundation in hospitality, equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and professional values needed to excel in a global industry. In Year 1, students build a strong understanding of key hospitality concepts, frameworks, and industry theories, while gaining practical experience in areas such as sales and marketing, conferences and events, and food and beverage operations. This year also focuses on understanding diverse consumer behaviors and developing professional skills essential for career success. In Year 2, the course emphasizes management and leadership principles alongside finance and sustainability within the hospitality sector. Students enhance their problem-solving abilities, explore the broader environmental context of hospitality, and gain hands-on experience in front office, room operations, and culinary management. This stage develops both individual and teamwork capabilities, preparing students for real-world challenges. In Year 3, students apply strategic and innovative thinking to complex hospitality issues while preparing for a Final Major Project. Modules focus on consumer insights, environmental hotel operations, and hospitality futures, culminating in a research-based project that enables students to critically evaluate concepts and make informed judgments.
