COURSE CURRICULUM

The Chinese and International Business BA provides students with a comprehensive education that combines Chinese language and cultural studies with essential business knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a globalized economy. In the first year, students build a foundation in accounting, finance, marketing, and the global business environment, while also exploring Chinese language, culture, and material culture, establishing both business acumen and cultural awareness. In the second year, the course focuses on practical business applications, including digital business, international financial analysis, international business practice, and organizational behavior. Students further develop their understanding of Chinese culture, multilingual collaboration, and the role of language in public and professional contexts, enhancing their ability to operate in cross-cultural business settings. The third year emphasizes strategic and advanced business topics, such as comparative international management, global marketing management, and international financial management. Students also undertake a final year project that integrates their knowledge of business, language, and culture, while exploring contemporary issues in Chinese studies and society. Throughout the program, students develop analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, preparing them for careers in multinational corporations, consulting, international trade, or entrepreneurship, with the ability to confidently navigate both business and cultural complexities in a global professional environment.
