COURSE CURRICULUM

This Digital Business and Management degree provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how digital technologies transform modern business operations while developing core management skills. In the first year, students are introduced to the functions of business organisations, their structures, governance, and the global environment in which they operate. Key management skills, including accounting, marketing, organisational behaviour, and data analysis, are explored alongside ethical considerations and cultural differences. Students also have the opportunity to broaden their learning through optional modules, including foreign languages, enhancing both specialist knowledge and transferable skills. In the second year, the focus shifts to digital business fundamentals, covering electronic and mobile services, digital commerce, innovation in products and services, and the role of emerging technologies. Students develop practical and analytical skills, learning to apply digital tools to real-life business challenges while enhancing decision-making, leadership, and project management capabilities. In the final year, students deepen their digital literacy and strategic understanding, exploring themes such as digital business innovation, service transformation, and enterprise development. They conduct independent research on topics of personal interest in digital business, culminating in the Global Strategic Management module, which simulates real-world strategic decision-making and prepares graduates to lead and adapt in dynamic commercial environments.
