COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Internet of Things (IoT) focuses on the practical and theoretical aspects of IoT, data acquisition through sensors, and the ethical practices required for professional environments. The program emphasizes the planning, analyzing, developing, evaluating, deploying, and managing of IoT systems and services for modern organizations and businesses. Core modules include Mobile Networks and Smartphone Applications, Data Mining and Visualization, Ethics for the IT Professional, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Research Design and Methods, and Emerging Topics in Computing, providing a comprehensive understanding of IoT technologies. Additionally, students will study specialized modules such as Internet-of-Things and Applications and Advanced Wireless Networking Technologies, which explore cutting-edge IoT innovations. The program culminates in a Master’s project (60 credits) that integrates all aspects of the course, ensuring students gain the skills necessary to apply IoT in industries such as healthcare, where its application is rapidly growing.
