COURSE CURRICULUM

The course in International Management equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the rapidly changing global business environment. It covers key areas such as International Business Management, Leadership Development in a Changing World, Strategic Management in an International Context, Global Digital Business, Organisational Performance in Multi-National Enterprises, and Research Methods & Design. These core modules provide students with a strong foundation in strategy, creativity, leadership, and internationalisation, preparing them for management careers in a dynamic global market. Students engage in lectures, tutorials, and workshops, where they are expected to actively participate in discussions and activities, with continuous assessment throughout each module. During the Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) stage, students will complete 120 credits, including 90 credits from core modules like International Business Management, Leadership and Change, and Organisational Performance of Multi-National Enterprises, along with 10 credits from optional modules such as Contemporary Organisation Theory or Managing Employee Relations. After the PgDip, students can progress to the MSc stage by completing a bespoke 60-credit module, either Developing Professional Practice or the MSc International Management Dissertation. This program is designed to develop applied professional skills and techniques, preparing students to address the challenges of leadership and management in an international context.
