COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum of this program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to address the growing challenges of cyber threats. It covers a wide range of topics, ensuring graduates have a multidisciplinary skill set that includes knowledge of current and emerging technologies, an understanding of legal, social, and ethical issues, and an appreciation of the professional responsibilities of cybersecurity practitioners. Modules include Fundamentals of Digital Forensics, Foundations of Cyber Security, Governance, Risk Management and Compliance, Cyber Security: Law and Ethics, Network Penetration Testing, Malware Analysis, Advanced Network Security, Research Design and Methods, Penetration Testing Programming, Applied Cryptography, Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence. These modules are complemented by a Masters Project, providing students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a real-world context. Each taught module is worth 10 credits, while the Master's Project carries 60 credits.
