COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business program is structured over four years, gradually developing students’ knowledge and skills across key areas of business and management. In year one, students are introduced to fundamental subjects such as finance, marketing, human resource management, and entrepreneurship, while also beginning to explore the role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in modern workplaces. In year two, learning becomes more focused on contemporary organisational issues, including sustainability, operations management, and digital workplaces, alongside a deeper understanding of how AI supports innovation and data analytics. During year three, students engage with more advanced topics such as business strategy, organisational culture, and leadership, while examining emerging global business challenges and the transformative impact of AI. They also study research methods to prepare for their final year project. In year four, students complete an honours dissertation or project on a topic of their choice, allowing them to apply their knowledge in a specialised area. At the same time, they develop a critical understanding of globalisation, knowledge management, and change management. Students can also choose to focus on sustainability and ethics or explore the growing influence of AI on organisations and society, ensuring a well-rounded and future-focused business education.
