COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured over four years to gradually develop students’ knowledge and expertise in business and human resource management. In the first year, students build a solid foundation through core modules such as entrepreneurial thinking, organisational understanding, and people management, along with optional subjects like finance, marketing, AI in business, and professional development. The second year focuses on strengthening practical business and HRM skills, with core modules including organisational behaviour, sustainability, and operations management, supported by optional subjects such as business analytics, digital workplaces, and social media marketing. In the third year, students specialise in HRM, studying key areas such as talent management, performance and reward, professional HR practice, HR systems and analytics, and employment relations, alongside research methods to prepare for their final project. The fourth year, or honours year, emphasises advanced HRM strategies and independent research, where students complete a dissertation and explore topics such as transformational HRM, HR policy and practice, equality and diversity, and international HRM issues. Overall, the course combines foundational learning, practical skills, and specialised HR knowledge to prepare students for careers in human resource management and related fields.
