COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured over four years to progressively develop students’ knowledge and skills in business and finance. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through core modules such as entrepreneurial thinking, organisational understanding, finance basics, marketing, people management, and AI in business, along with optional modules that support professional development. The second year focuses on enhancing practical and analytical skills, with core subjects including business analytics, sustainability, and operations management, while offering optional modules like organisational behaviour, digital workplaces, and social media marketing to broaden expertise. In the third year, students specialise more deeply in finance, studying advanced topics such as financial risk, global compliance, investment analysis, strategic financial management, and statistics, alongside research methods that prepare them for their final project. The fourth year, or honours year, emphasises advanced financial knowledge and independent research, where students complete a dissertation or project and study key areas such as financial markets, financial technology, financial crime prevention, and international human resource management. Overall, the course combines foundational learning, practical skills, and specialised knowledge to prepare students for careers in the finance and business sectors.
