COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Applied Psychology program focuses on developing advanced skills in understanding and applying psychological principles to real-world situations. Core modules include Applied Research in Psychology, where students gain expertise in designing and conducting research, analysing data, and interpreting findings to inform practice. Neurodiversity and Mental Health explores the complexities of mental health across communities and cultures, fostering an understanding of how societal and cultural factors shape psychological wellbeing. The Psychology of Behaviour Change equips students with strategies to promote positive behavioural outcomes, applying evidence-based methods to influence individual and group behaviours. Mentoring, Supporting and Leadership Skills develops the interpersonal and professional competencies needed to guide, support, and lead effectively in diverse settings. A key feature of the program is the Applied Psychology Project, which allows students to conduct an in-depth, independent research project tailored to their interests and career goals. This project integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills, providing hands-on experience in research design, data collection, and professional application.
