COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA Graphic Design – Contemporary Dialogues program includes a set of compulsory modules that support the development of creative thinking, research, and professional design practice. The Coexistent Perspectives module encourages students to explore a variety of artistic and cultural viewpoints, helping them understand how social, cultural, and visual influences shape contemporary graphic design. The Thought Experiment module focuses on developing conceptual thinking and creativity, allowing students to test new ideas and approaches while connecting theoretical concepts with practical design work. Collaborative Dialogues highlights the importance of teamwork and communication, encouraging students to share ideas, participate in critiques, and collaborate with peers from different creative disciplines. These experiences help broaden their understanding of design and strengthen their ability to discuss and present their work. A major component of the program is Explorative Research and Praxis, where students carry out in-depth research and experimentation with design methods, materials, and visual communication strategies. This module supports the development of an individual design approach and encourages innovation in responding to real-world design challenges. Confirmative Praxis builds on this research by guiding students in refining their concepts and producing a substantial body of professional design work. Together, these modules allow students to develop strong creative skills, critical thinking, and a professional portfolio that demonstrates their abilities as contemporary graphic designers.
