COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum spans three years. Year 1 introduces foundational modules like Human Development, Health and Well-being, and Professional Practice in Child Care. Year 2 builds on this with subjects such as Safeguarding Children, Research Methods, and Mental Health in Young People. Year 3 focuses on advanced topics including Leadership in Health Care, Complex Needs, and a dissertation or research project. Practical placements are integrated throughout, providing hands-on experience in settings like hospitals, schools, and community organizations. The program includes assessments through essays, presentations, exams, and reflective portfolios to ensure comprehensive skill development.
