COURSE CURRICULUM

The Hospitality and Hotel Management BA (Hons) program provides a structured progression from foundational knowledge to advanced industry expertise, preparing students for careers in the global hospitality sector. In the first year, students explore the fundamentals of hospitality and hotel management, developing skills in customer service, business management, marketing, and sustainable hospitality practices. This foundation establishes the core knowledge needed for future study and professional practice. The second year builds on this foundation, focusing on managerial skills, operational knowledge, and human resource management, while providing practical industry experience through placements in food and beverage, front office, and hotel facilities. In the final year, the program emphasizes advanced strategic and leadership skills, including managing guest services, food and beverage operations, international meetings, and organisational consultancy. Students undertake a placement research project to apply their learning to real-world scenarios, supported by guest lectures and industry engagement.
