COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management BA program begins with a first year focused on building a strong foundation in business principles and academic skills. Students explore modules such as Introduction to Business, the Global Business Environment, and Understanding Organisational Structure and Culture, gaining insight into how organisations function and interact within wider economic and social contexts. Leadership and stakeholder engagement are introduced early, helping students develop essential skills for managing people and projects. In the second year, the focus shifts to core business functions, including marketing, accounting, human resource management, and entrepreneurship. Students also develop competencies in data handling, business intelligence, and management accounting, allowing them to make informed financial and strategic decisions. These modules provide practical experience and strengthen problem-solving and analytical abilities, preparing students for complex business challenges. In the final year, students consolidate their learning through a major independent project, applying theoretical knowledge to practical situations. Additional modules in strategic management, sustainability, international business communication, project management, and leadership theory and practice further equip students with advanced skills needed for leadership and decision-making roles. By the end of the program, graduates have a comprehensive understanding of business operations, practical experience in key functions, and the strategic, analytical, and management skills required to succeed in a wide range of business careers or pursue further study.
