COURSE CURRICULUM

The Strategic Hotel Management MSc offers a comprehensive and advanced study of hotel management, designed for students with prior industry experience or academic background in hospitality. In the first semester, students focus on hotel investment and finance, gaining insights into financial planning, investment appraisal, and revenue generation strategies critical to the hospitality sector. Courses in hotel operations analysis develop analytical skills to assess and improve operational efficiency, while strategic human resource management equips students with the knowledge to manage talent effectively in international hotel settings. Research methods provide essential tools for evidence-based decision-making and project work. The second semester builds on these foundations with modules in strategic management of international hotel companies, emphasizing global operations, leadership, and competitive strategy. Strategic marketing and brand management develop the ability to design and implement marketing strategies that strengthen brand identity and customer engagement. Optional modules allow students to explore areas such as revenue management, ethics and corporate social responsibility, digital service design, business analytics, hospitality information systems, and sustainability, offering flexibility to tailor learning to career goals.
