COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in International Relations offers a comprehensive and rigorous exploration of global politics, preparing students to understand and analyse the complexities of the international system. In the first year, students engage with core modules such as Introduction to Research, Theories of International Relations, and Research in Practice, providing a strong foundation in both theoretical frameworks and methodological skills necessary for high-level analysis. Optional modules allow students to tailor their studies to specific interests, including intervention, political leadership, planetary politics, international trade, security, defence, political economy, terrorism, and the ethics of war.
